When the first card the dealer draws is black, it will be dealt to Andar and if it is in the hearts or diamonds suite, it is dealt to Bahar.
For instance, if the dealer shows an 8 card and you place a bet on Andar, you win when this side receives the card of the same value. In case an 8 card is dealt to the Bahar side, you lose your stake. When it comes to payouts, if the selected card shows up on the side which the first drawn card was dealt to, the prize is 0.9:1. If it is dealt to the other side, the payout is 1:1. This rule makes Andar Bahar similar to Baccarat, where a 5% commission fee is reduced from a Banker bet win.
