- Peek-A-Boo and Spooky Gulches. Located just down Hole-in-the-Rock Road from Zebra Slot Canyon are two thrilling slot canyons to explore. In terms of pure enjoyment, these are our favorites on this list. Peek-A-Boo Gulch has several sections of challenging rock scrambling, including a 12 foot climb just to enter the canyon.
- Grand Circle Tours offers a 3 hour tour to Peek A Boo slot canyon located about 10 miles outside of Kanab Utah. This short slot rivals any of the more famous canyons located in Utah or Arizona for photography potential. Less crowds equals a more relaxed walking/shooting experience for our guests.

Kanab's Peek-a-Book Canyon is an awesome slot canyon that's easy to hike too and not as crowded as other in major parks. En route to the canyon, you'll enjoy an exciting off-roading adventure while getting to the canyon.
The trailhead is Best Friends Animal Sanctuary (Angel Canyon Rd.) located between the Kanab and Mt. Carmel Jct. To get started, head out on a sandy track on the north side of US 89 (37.154,-112.573). 4WD vehicles can drive all (2.8 miles) or part of this track, which leads to the drainage below the narrows.

Great beginner slot
This is a short but sweet and simple slot that is a great introduction. with 4x4 you can get very close access and do this slot without breaking a sweat, but it sure is beautiful and worth a little hiking if needed.

We will tour the slot canyon on foot which involves walking on mostly flat terrain. Peekaboo is a fine example of a slot canyon, or a narrow canyon worn into rock by rushing water over time. Significantly deeper than it is wide, Peekaboo Canyon is a delight for the senses in all seasons and at all times of day. It is nature’s perfection under sunny or cloudy skies and both are equally beautiful to behold. Come along with us on multiple tours as you will never see the same place twice! Peekaboo is cool on warm days and a wind block on cool days, so it offers a comfortable experience regardless of season. The light which bathes the canyon is ever-changing and offers endless opportunities for exquisite photographs. This is certainly the place where you will capture your trip’s most memorable image – Peekaboo is famous for this! Did we mention this is a tour favored by Professional Photographers?
